Most point of sale software looks great in a screenshot and falls apart at 7pm on a Saturday. We designed the SumPOS till screen by standing behind counters and counting keystrokes. The barcode field always has focus. Quantity, discount and price override are one key away. The customer display updates as you scan. Nothing between the cashier and the next customer.

Returns, exchanges and the awkward conversations

Refunds are where badly written POS software leaks money. SumPOS ties every return to its original invoice, restores the exact tax treatment, puts stock back into the right batch, and records who approved it. Partial returns, exchanges with a price difference, and store-credit issue are all one flow.

Shifts, drawers and cash you can actually reconcile

Open a shift with a declared float, close it with a blind count, and let SumPOS tell you the variance. Every drawer open is logged against a user. Every no-sale, void and manual discount lands in an exceptions report that a manager can read in ninety seconds.
