Cookie Policy

This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies we use, what each one is for, and how you can control them. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage and pixels. They allow a site to remember things between visits - such as whether you prefer the dark theme, or that you are signed in.

2. What we use, and why

Strictly necessary

Required for the site and product to function. These cannot be switched off through our site because nothing would work without them.

  • Session and authentication tokens that keep you signed in to the Platform.
  • Security tokens that protect against cross-site request forgery.
  • Load balancing to route your requests to a healthy server.
  • A local preference storing your chosen light or dark theme.

Functional

Remember choices you have made so the experience is consistent - your language, your selected branch, dismissed notices and layout preferences. Disabling these does not break the site, but it will feel forgetful.

Analytics

Help us understand which pages are useful, where people get stuck and whether a change improved anything. We use privacy-respecting, aggregated analytics and we do not use them to build advertising profiles.

Marketing

Used only if you consent, to measure whether a campaign led to a signup. We do not run third-party advertising networks on this site and we do not sell audience data.

3. How to control cookies

  • Use the cookie preferences control on our website to accept or reject non-essential categories at any time.
  • Use your browser settings to block or delete cookies. Every major browser offers this, usually under Privacy or Site Settings.
  • Use private or incognito browsing, which discards cookies when the window closes.
  • Enable Global Privacy Control in your browser. We honour it as an opt-out signal for non-essential cookies.

4. Third-party cookies

Some pages embed content from third parties - for example a video player or a scheduling widget. Those providers may set their own cookies, governed by their own policies. We keep such embeds to a minimum and load them only where they serve a clear purpose.

5. Changes

We will update this policy when we add or remove a technology. The date at the top reflects the current version.
